This past year was one of both challenges and opportunities. Around the world, people were forced to face daunting challenges to their physical and mental health, their economic well-being, and deep-rooted societal inequities. At the same time, we’ve all been part of shaping a new path that highlights our collective capacity for resilience and innovation when faced with adversity – and that gives me great hope for the future.

Job Readiness
Many of today’s graduates don’t have the durable skills required to be job ready, and many simply lack access to the technology and resources needed to gain them. By bringing real-world tools into classrooms, Intuit's job readiness program helps students better prepare for jobs of the future by developing critical personal finance and entrepreneurial skills they can take into the job market. Our programs and partnerships address students’ unequal access to technology and resources to support remote learning models, particularly through the pandemic.
Positive Impact on Climate
Climate change severely impacts opportunities for employees, customers and communities to prosper. Intuit’s 50x by 30 strategy focuses on sustainability initiatives and solutions both inside and outside of the company’s operations. Our strategy offers employees, customers, communities and partners solutions to help them reverse the impact of climate change. Intuit measures the impact of these climate-positive actions across these stakeholders and continues to seek solutions that benefit the planet.

Financial Empowerment at Tax Time
We believe citizen engagement in preparation and filing of tax returns is an important, empowering opportunity for Americans to understand and improve their personal financial lives. This is especially true for lower income Americans – and why Intuit has donated TurboTax to millions, participates in IRS and State Free File programs, founded Tax Time Allies, and provides funding and other support to nonprofits that build financial freedom - including savings - among those who need it the most.
SaverLife Partnership
Intuit partnered with SaverLife in two Prosperity Hub communities – Bluefield, West Virginia and Johnstown, Pennsylvania-- to empower employees at Alorica and Concentrix and local residents to build the habit of savings. During the pilot 3,300 households joined the SaverLife challenge; Bluefield area residents saw an average net increase in savings of $442; in Johnstown, that figure was $211.
